HOW IT WORKS:
Once the class has registered the FUN begins!!
GET FIT!
All Get Fit activities are done as a whole class and points are allotted accordingly
Each completed Activity Challenge =500 points
GET EDUCATED!
All students within the class are able to take the quizzes on their own, during school hours, or after school hours
Each question that is answered correctly is awarded 1 point
Each quiz that is taken (regardless of right or wrong answers) is awarded 1 point
Each Correct answer = 1 Participation Plus Point
1 Participation "bonus" point for taking quiz
(If you take a quiz and get every question correct, the maximum number of Participation Points an individual can receive is 6 points)
GET INVOLVED!
Classes can help support the 2010 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games.
$1 dollar raised = 50 Participation Plus points
The combined total minutes active, educational quizzes and dollars raised = PP Plus Total for your class!!!
Prizes awarded based on highest
Participation PLUS points!
The "top" three classes as of May 1st, 2010 will receive a FREE lunch at their school courtesy of SUBWAY.
Fundraising
Classes raising more than $1000 dollars will be recognized as sponsors of the 2010 Special Olympics Summer Games – Adopt-An-Athlete program.
